In order to make data transfer of WLAN scanners in production even faster and more effective, the form of data transfer options was expanded. The mobile devices can now also communicate with the database via a representative state transfer interface.
Depending on the production environment, it can therefore be decided whether the transfer is to take place via a direct database connection or via communication with the REST connection.
In order to use the advantages of REST, some of the docusuite and docuservice system structures were modified with the aim of being able to communicate with REST-connected systems in the intranet. The docusuite interface product portfolio was extended accordingly and adapted to the new form of communication.
